Thank you Veterans Airlift Command(VAC) for giving me the ability to regain my eyesight and for restoring my faith in humanity after a horrible year recovering from my wounds received by an ISIS suicide bomber in January 2019. Because of your professional staff and volunteers the DoD authorized my travel from my duty station to across the US so I could attend training on a device that helped me see again. It was because I did not have to sit on a crowded airplane or in a terminal while in the middle of Covid-19 that I was allowed to travel. The pilots and airplane were top notch and my wife and I enjoyed the three hour flight very much. Again thank you for giving me the mode of travel to regain my hope for a brighter future, and the training on a device that allowed me to see my beautiful wife after a year of darkness. God Bless!
