Review for The Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, Inc., Washington, DC, USA
I'm a 3rd year law student, and this is my third year to volunteer fundraising for the WLCH. The WLCH is wonderful because of the vast array of ways it helps the homeless population in DC: advocacy of homelessness and poverty issues, representing homeless clients, and community outreach, to name a few. It's pretty incredible what all they manage to do on a non-profit budget; Patty and her team are complete professionals. Volunteering for the clinic has been the best experience of my law school career by far!
