I became Community Link volunteer shortly after my husband passed away in 2012. I was wanting something to do and the Lord led me to Community Link. At that time Community Link was located in the house behind the Methodist Church. I started out filling orders and soon started interviewing. As the Lord blessed and we out grew that facility, I remained as an interviewer taking orders by hand and then we went to the computer. It was a learning process but soon became a faster process. All the volunteers have become my brothers and sisters in Christ. Community Link meets the needs of so many families in our area and the Lord continues to bless. I am so bless to be a volunteer and to work with so many sweet families. The clients are always so glad and happy for all we do for them and I am, in return, blessed to work with them. I know that the Lord will continue to bless us with what we need to help others in need.
