Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA
My name is Benedicta Duoduwaa Appiah, a fourth year medical student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi- Ghana. I got to know about Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship program through a friend who had had an immense help from the organization.
Joining EPI has been a relief in many spheres of my life. EPI has had a great impact on my finances which was a previous constraint in my academics and that of my siblings. Through the provision of my tuition, money for textbooks, hostel fees and extra for my upkeep from EPI, pressure on my parents have reduced and this has increased their capacity for my siblings. Through this effect and motivation through EPI’s general meetings, my academic performance has been stabilized and promises to be better with time.
Moreover, EPI does not only motivate me to move higher in my academic pursuits. Through topics like “time management, entrepreneurship, top skills employers look out for in employees” and many others treated in EPI general meetings, my view of life and my goals to achieve have improved. Knowing now that life is not about academics alone but about proper integration of discipline, goal settings and a lot more, I now work towards improving myself to reach self-fulfillment.
I chose to offer Human Biology (Medicine) because I believe I am capable of playing an essential part in the physical aspects of saving lives. I intend to serve my country with my skills for a while before taking the next step on the academic ladder. My outmost appreciation goes to Educational Pathways International for the massive turnaround of my life, keep the good work up. Long live EPI!!!
