Review for Saint James Food Pantry, Chicago, IL, USA
As a volunteer at St. James Food Pantry I see first hand the good that is done here. Many people come in, some in tears because a family member has been laid off and had too move back in with parents, and there just isn't enough money to go around to buy food. They are so grateful for whatever we can do to help them. Many senior citizens, on fixed income, come in receiving a monthly sustenance to carry them from month to month. This is done by a small Catholic Church on Chicago's south side who are very committed to the social justice call of the Gospel
