Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

To begin with, Maimonides once said, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. This quote applies to Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship in all aspects as it only does not serve to give scholarship to gifted and needy students but creates an atmosphere that allows its beneficiaries to have a sense of belonging and learn great leadership skills to help transform this world. It is always an honor to be part of Educational Pathways International program since it also provides the opportunity to give back to the needy and unprivileged in the society by empowering us with the right leadership skills.
My name is Dennis Owusu, a final year Biochemistry student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. I have been on this scholarship for three years now and I would like to say ‘Ayekoo’ to EPI for giving me the opportunity to pursue my academic and career goals without any hindrance. This scholarship has given me the opportunity to study smoothly to attain the academic excellence I want and also engage in a lot of non-academic activities such as leadership seminars, competitions and training workshop to build myself up for the career goals since all issues concerning financial burden has been taken care of.
Thanks to Educational Pathways International for providing us with a country Director that does not only keep a keen eye on our studies but give us guidance and counseling on our career aspirations and also tutor us on the basic valuable skills every student should have, I have acquired a lot of these skills such as the art of public speaking, time management, how to write a good Curriculum Vitae, how to ace any interview, networking skills and how to write a report.
In future, I intend to become a Neurosurgeon and establish a company that seeks to use advanced technologies in health to improve the quality of healthcare in Ghana by creating avenues for certain surgeries which could not be conducted made possible. Confidently, with the financial supports and mentorship from EPI, I am assured of making this goal, a reality.
Words are not enough to express my gratitude towards EPI. My family and I, will forever be grateful to Educational Pathways International and all those who contributed to make this a reality. Thank you so much and God bless EPI.
