Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA
My name is Grace Bamfo-Ennin. I am a final year student at the faculty of Law, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Ghana.
I have been part of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship since 2016 and I must say my life has turned for the better ever since I joined the family.
I’m elated for what EPI has shaped in my life but I’m quite bummed I’m getting off the scheme as my degree program comes to an end this year, but that does not end my relationship with EPI because I will have the opportunity to join EPI Alumni. The love, support, encouragement, can never be understated. It is one scholarship organisation which is genuinely interested in the holistic welfare of its beneficiaries. With academics as the focal point, its concern and love transcends to all facets of the student’s life.
Right from first year when I joined EPI, I’ve been encouraged to set high standards for my studies and I’ve been encouraged to work out my potential in all that I do. This is because EPI has a threshold of which its students cannot fall below. For that matter you cannot allow sluggishness and indolence into your academics. And that discipline and training which we go through has had its impact on the rest of my life. Each year, we meet with the benefactors and discuss our successes and achievements and due recognition is giving to all those who do extra ordinarily well, not only academically, but in any way they are impacting the society.
Through resilience and hard work learnt from EPI, I’ve risen to become one of the most influential students at my faculty. In one of the seminars organised by our EPI, in first year we were taught pubic speaking. And it was a good start for me as it is in tandem with my program of study. I was able to apply what I studied from the seminar and spoke unnervingly ever since.
I also learnt how to write formal letters and a good curriculum vitae, which made it easy for me when I applied to firms for internship opportunity and other necessary applications. Speaking of internship, with EPI, we are made to do internships with firms and companies during the summer vacations. Through this compulsory internship program with a couple of firms I worked with, I have established a great network and connections which contain high profile figures in the Legal fraternity as well as other promising fields.
Through the workshops organised by EPI, I’ve learned priceless wisdom regarding entrepreneurship and business. At the time, I had a little something going on and the information I gathered was very instrumental to my small business. The rest have been pocketed for future references.
EPI encouraged me to set my goals and priority right. My dream of becoming an accomplished International Law expert seems to be coming true with each passing year that I’m part of EPI, and I am extremely grateful.
After my undergraduate studies, I am going to serve my country through our National Service Scheme. Then I’ll further to the Law School and subsequently pursue my graduate studies from there. Then my pursuit to become my dream unfolds.
I am highly indebted to EPI for believing in me and being very gracious to me during my undergraduate studies. It is the one top scholarship scheme any student must look out for.
Long live Educational Pathways International!
