I was a Policy Intern here, and I can honestly say it is my favorite and most rewarding internship I've ever done! From Day 1, the staff was so welcoming, kind, helpful, and smart, and I immediately felt comfortable in the team. Going into it, I knew I would learn a lot about a range of environmental policy topics, but I was still blown away by how much I actually learned about so many different things. This internship instilled strong research and writing techniques, and encouraged learning opportunities by attending events and briefings around DC (including being involved in putting on our own briefings). I can't even stress how valuable this experience was for me. Everything that EESI does is truly a team effort, and they are making such a positive impact in the world, always putting out high quality information and keeping Congress educated on important issues. I look forward to seeing the great work EESI does in the future!
