Being inducted into NSCS has truly been one of my biggest accomplishments to date. As I prepared to enroll as a college student at the age of 24, I kept hearing and reading a lot of discouraging information. Many people say that if you don’t attend college directly after high school, you’ll struggle much more than the average student. Beginning my academic career as a full-time student and as a full-time employee was daunting, to say the least. Learning how to balance my time was a bit difficult at first, however I was still very committed to earning good grades. I received an email from NSCS less than a year later, recognizing me for all my hard work. Many of my friends are NSCS members and I am aware of all the opportunities this society will bring to students like myself. I am so very honored to have been chosen amongst so many great collegiate students. Thank you for the providing me with the motivation to excel!
