Getting involved as an officer is the best way to get the most from being part of the organization. I became the treasurer on my last year in college and it helped me get more involved in the organization and also learned to appreciate the work that goes behind every activity made for the members. I had some great experiences from doing community service and other college activities with NSCS. I got to meet many amazing people and friends thanks to it. There is also a good amount of opportunities to get a scholarship throughout the year and nice discounts for being part of it.
