Review for Progressive Animal Welfare Society of Bainbridge Island & North Kitsap, Bainbridge Is, WA, USA
PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap finds homes for approximately 350 cats annually. They carefully prepare cats and kittens for adoption through good medical and nutritional care, and socialization techniques. They pay attention to each cat's individual personality and suitability for different home situations; for example, some do well with other cats or dogs, while others need to be the only animal in the home. Some are best suited to an adults-only environment, while others are great with children. Fostering and respite care are provided when needed.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Watching animals interact with people looking for a pet. Sometimes a cat has to come back to PAWS and the adopting family chooses another one. Some cats are companions for elders and PAWS supports that relationship by providing assistance for food or medical care for the cat.
