My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Chewonki Foundation Inc, Wiscasset, ME, USA
I was hired as an Environmental Educator/Trip Leader right out of college in 2004. I worked at Chewonki at total of 3.5 years and those experiences made me a better human being. Life, work, professionalism, love, challenge, modesty, sustainability, simplicity, community, land, integrity, appreciation and stewardship are just a few of the words that begin to describe all of the life-lessons I gained during my time at Chewonki. It was a pivotal point in my life and I am grateful to the community of people and that 400-acre peninsula in Wiscasset, Maine that helped shape the person I am proud to be today.
