I am one of the single moms blessed by the generous donations that come to Project Hawai’i, Inc. I live in a little 4 wall area at the end of long rocky road. Our family is 3 children and me. We live without water or electric but we are still working for a better place.
A small group of ladies came to our roads and delivered these Easter baskets for our children. My family would not have had any sort of Easter or even known it was Easter without this surprise.
My children count on meals from school, the school gym to bathe and now they can count on this program to help with life needs and holiday joy.
Some might not understand how we are able to survive in the conditions we live. We are a big ohana and we help each other to find what we need to make it just another day.
I have seen many of the single moms escape their lives here and Project Hawai’i, Inc. has been a great part of that.
She never lets us down. Every holiday is always there.
I want to say a big mahalo to every one who donates. I know this is all possible because people care about my children.
