Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My name is Desmond Bantee, a second year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science
and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Land Economy.
I live in a deprived village in the Upper West Region of Ghana, and my dream is to acquire the
requisite knowledge and skills that would enable me to help in the formulation and
implementation of policies that would improve the socio-economic wellbeing of my people
while maintaining the much-required balance between the natural and built environment.
This ignited my interest in Land Economy, an intellectually challenging programme with
excellent combination of economics, law and a sustainable balance between the natural and built
environment. This course which is relevant as it is important especially in this 21 st century of
rapidly changing situations of life would offer me a variety of skills and knowledge in different
yet crucial aspects of our society and contribute to my long-term dream of impacting my
community and country at large.
After a successful completion of the senior high school and living in the village, my chances of
succeeding became slim due to the financial constraints my family face. I thought this dream of
mine would never materialize given the financial status of my family. Thanks to Educational
Pathways International (EPI), my hopes became heightened and I could then sense my ambition
transforming into reality after I was awarded a scholarship in October, 2019 after successfully
gaining admission into a premier University in Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science
and Technology (KNUST), to pursue BSc Land Economy. EPI’s scholarship package caters for
my school fees, accommodation, books and stipends which enables me to have a free and
peaceful mind to concentrate on my academic work as well as other extra-curricular activities to
make myself, my family and EPI proud.
Aside the financial assistance that beneficiaries of Educational Pathways International receive,
we also benefit from intensive training sessions on crucial aspects of our lives to make us
wholesome graduates with the requisite skills and capabilities to make significant impact in our
communities and country at large. We attend monthly meetings every semester to be trained on
areas such as CV preparation, public speaking, effective time management and how to
adequately prepare for interviews (these are those I have benefited so far).
EPI has impacted so greatly in my life such that I have developed confidence in public speaking,
I can prepare an accurate CV and effectively manage my time. This comes from the lively and
interactive discussions during our monthly meetings to enable everyone comprehend the
concepts being taught, and how we can apply them to our daily living such that others can
emulate. EPI has really transformed the lives of many.
It is my fervent prayer that the Almighty God repays the founders, donors and sponsors of this
great family (EPI), a hundred fold in this life and a thousand fold in the hereafter. May He
continue to bless them and watch over them to keep on supporting and positively impacting the
lives of brilliant and needy students across our country Ghana and also beyond Ghana to realize
their full potential against abject poverty which would otherwise have hindered our laudable
aspirations. I will forever be grateful to EPI not only for the financial support but also for the
sense of belonging, love, care and encouragement they offer me.
Long live KNUST, long live Ghana, long live Educational Pathways International and all those who seek to preserve it for posterity.

Thank you.

My name is Desmond Bantee, a first year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, studying BSc. Land Economy. After successfully completing the senior high school, living in a deprived village in the upper west region of Ghana, my passion was to be a legal practitioner, specialized in land and estate development to represent my clients at the court of law when their rights are being infringed upon regarding the use and ownership of landed property and estate development. However, my chances of succeeding became slim due to the poor financial status of my family. Considering my poor financial background, I thought my dream will never become a reality.
Thanks to Educational Pathways International (EPI) as things became better and I could then foresee my ambition coming to a reality after I was awarded a scholarship in October 2019, after gaining admission to study BSc. Land Economy at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). My family and I have nothing to worry about anymore as my school fees, accommodation and books are all covered as well as stipdend under this scholarship program. I now have the free of mind to concentrate on my academic work and other extra- curricular activities to make EPI proud.
Aside academic excellence that beneficiaries of Educational Pathways International receive it also impacts beneficiaries positively on other areas of their lives to make the wholesome graduates who impacts their communities and their nation Ghana positively. We attend monthly meetings every semester to be trained on the various aspects of humanity that yield numerous benefits to society. Among the various areas of endeavor are CV preparation, effective public speaking, time management, proper planning and how to prepare for interviews (these are the few that I have benefited). During our lively meetings, topics are thoroughly discussed in an interactive way to the understanding of everyone and we are encouraged to exhibit all that we have learnt for others to emulate. Indeed, EPI has transformed the lives of many. This offers beneficiaries the skills to partake and succeed in diverse aspects of human endeavors. I can proudly say without an iota of doubt that I have developed confidence in public speaking, proper time management, team work and how to prepare an accurate Curriculum Vitae ( CV ) for my own benefit, God bless EPI.
It is my fervent prayer that the Almighty God repays the founders, donors and sponsors of our great family (EPI) a hundred fold in this life and a thousand fold in the hereafter. May God continue to bless them and watch over them to keep on supporting and positively impacting on the lives of brilliant and needy students across our country Ghana and also beyond Ghana to realize their full potential against abject poverty which would otherwise have hindered our laudable aspirations. I will forever be grateful to EPI not only for the financial support but also for the sense of belonging, love, care and encouragement they offer me. Long live KNUST, Long live Ghana, Long live Educational Pathways International and all those who seek to preserve it for posterity. Thank you.
