I came to the Dream Center in 2016 on a court order from southwest Missouri. I was given the opportunity to attend + complete their year long Discipleship program (faith-based recovery) instead of pleading guilty to multiple felony cases I had obtained as a result of my addiction. Flash forward over four years later, I have been blessed with a full time job at the Dream Center, successfully graduated Discipleship and their second year recovery program, Connections. This place has given me my life back and restored far greater than what the enemy had stolen. I have meaningful healthy relationships today and community that lifts me up. The Dream Center does amazing work for individuals like myself through FREE residential programs and onward into the greater Los Angeles area with outreach programs that serve the overlooked and underserved through food distribution, “Adopt A Block” visits, foster care intervention services and human trafficking rescue missions. This is just part of their work. So much more is offered and you can directly see through short-term mission trips, local volunteerism, and financial support to keep everything free for those we serve.
