Review for Roots Of Peace, San Rafael, CA, USA
This is a internationally significant organization. RoP addresses a very sensitive subject that effects the economies of where it participates in the world in a very personal way. The removal of land mines and replacing them with profitable crops has 2 profound effects: 1) it clarifies the commitment we offer to a safe and valued country and people 2) RoP goes a step further and transforms that land in to something profitable and renewable. RoP is a great step towards diplomacy in Afganistan.
