Review for Women's Intercultural Center Inc, Anthony, NM, USA
If you need motivation, the Center is there. If you need someone to talk to, the Center is there. If you need food the Center is there. If you want to learn new skills or talents, the Center is there. If you need advice, the Center is there. If you need any kind of help, the Center is there. If you want your life completely changed for the better, the Center is there.
The Women's Center is the one place in Anthony that can completely change your life and it isn't just their work to help others but it is the people running the Center that make it one of the most unique non-profits I have ever visited. If you have the opportunity to visit, I urge you to seriously stop by because your life will forever be changed. There are three volunteers I will always hold the closest to my heart during my visit there and they would be Saif, Mary, and Allen. Saif and Mary are two of the most incredibly inspiring individuals you can meet in your lifetime. Not only have the accomplished so much but they provide the best advice in the world and really make it feel possible that you can overcome anything you may face in life. Allen while I did not get to talk with him much, he still has one of the most welcoming faces and beautiful smile and you just know he has the kindest of hearts.
I ended up here on a school trip to learn about immigration and all I can say is wow, not only did I learn a lot but I gain a new family not only Saif, Mary, and Allen but a few of their participants like Judith, Veronica, Lazaro and more. I came for just a week but I am impressed with how amazing this non-profit and wish we had one in my area. Although, I know Saif and Mary would tell me that I could have one here, and I would just need to create it.
I don't want to yammer on forever, because I know I would but the Center is the heart and soul of not only Anthony but some of the kindest, strongest, most inspiring people you can ever meet. They completely changed my life and if there's anything I could ask for them is to please support them, donate to them, volunteer with them because they truly use all their resources to impact their community.
Thank you.
