This is an absolutely fantastic organization. This group works diligently to raise funds and make contributions to those in need right in our backyard. They realize that each dollar raised can make a significant impact on those in our community that need help with a particular aspect of their lives. Maybe it is help with a car repair. Maybe it is help with heating oil. Maybe it is winter jackets for children who have outgrown theirs. Maybe it is to assist with furniture for a person moving to new living arrangements due to unsafe conditions at their prior home. The list is endless. This group has a robust verification program combined with a rapid response team that makes these supports happen in a very timely way. I'm grateful that this organization exists to help friends and neighbors in my community.
