Umbrella of the Capital District helps seniors and persons with disabilities live comfortably and safely in their own homes by providing low cost home maintenance and a variety of personal services. They help them keep the two things they cherish most . . . their homes and their independence. It is an exceptional program that meets the need of seniors and persons with disabilities to remain self-sufficient in their own homes.

As a program that resonated with our mission at Colonie Senior Service Centers, we asked Ron Byrne and Elaine Santore to share their expertise. They worked closely with us at Colonie Senior Service Centers to produce the first replication of their model, and thanks to Ron and Elaine it is a very successful program.
