I am in the person of Gideon Kwofie, a second year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. I am a young man full of dreams and aspirations, always imagining being great Electrical Engineer helping many unfortunate people in my community and the world at large. This passion has always gingered me to give out my best in academics in order to make this dream realistic one.
Right after high school, I gained admission to pursue my dream program at the university I had loved to attend. However, this vision started fading away due to financial constraints faced by my parents. There was then no hope for me for achieving my dreams. My dreams were shattered. Fortunately for me, I heard of Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship scheme and I applied for it. I successfully became a beneficiary of this scholarship which rekindled all the hopes that were almost dead.
It is exactly two years now I have been in this scholarship scheme and I have never regretted for being a beneficiary. The scholarship is a comprehensive one that covers all my university education expenses. It also takes care of my accommodation fees and even some stipend. As a result, I do not have financial challenge for my education.
Educational Pathways International scholarship package did not only provide monetary help for my academics. We are taken through Life transforming programs and seminars which has really helped me. Some of these seminars centered on time management, communication skills both at school and in the corporate world and many others. Also, we learn other educational and job-oriented skills which has also been of great help. For instance, learning how to prepare Curriculum Vitae, among others.
EPI has really transformed my life and I really appreciate all persons who spend their resource in one way or the other to make this scholarship package always running each year. I am very grateful for this scholarship program helping many young men and women to achieve their goals in life. It is my prayer that the Almighty God bless each and every one who is involved in ensuring the smooth running of the scholarship scheme.

I am Kwofie Gideon, a first year BSc. Electrical/Electronic Engineering student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana. I am nineteen years.
Life was quite tough when the joy I had upon gaining admission to the university was short-lived. “What money am I going to use for my school fees”? The whole world became a tunnel in the midnight of a solar eclipse for me, but in the midst of this came from within a sequel to this dreadful and dream shattering tunnel; a light of joy threw into my path by Educational Pathways International (EPI). I didn’t know how to control my joy when such a miracle happened.
At the onset of this financial constraints faced by my parents, I thought my vision of becoming a professional Electrical and Electronic Engineer and the world’s popular inventor (the underlining reason for my choice of program of study) has come to an abrupt end. Thanks be to God and Educational Pathways International that this great vision of mine didn’t fade into thin air.
All my visions and ambitions in life have revived. I can now mold my life to suit my ambitions. I now have the desire to learn and my academic performance has improved in the sense that I don’t have to think about financial difficulties again.
The numerous lives benefiting topics EPI secretariat has taken us through alone is amazing. I have really learned much from the meetings they organized for us.
Now that my dreams are coming into reality, I have thought of means to also impact the lives of others who are also in need. I deem it a great pleasure to be supporting my community on the basis of helping other children who are climbing the academic ladder by offering a free class for those who would be of need. I also plan of organizing a seminar on principles of academic excellence in my local church for people to realize the need to excel academically.
With my current program of study, I also want to work hard and bring out many forms of producing cheap, reliable and pollution free electrical energy. Ghana, my country has a lot of raw materials and it is my plan that I help build sophisticated machines to help the processing of our raw materials.
I really appreciate Educational Pathways International for the light they have shown me. My visions and dreams would have always been in the dreamland but today, because of the sponsorship of EPI, they are coming into reality. May the Almighty God bless you, multiply your income and enlarge your territory.
