I am Sylvester Nartey, a final year BSc. Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology student in the University of Ghana, Legon (Accra), Ghana.
Being a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship, I am grateful for their kind-heartedness. Their support has greatly reduced my financial burden, giving me the opportunity to focus more on learning, which is the most crucial aspect of schooling. With their generous assistance, I have been able to cover my expenses, allowing me to concentrate on my academic endeavors. The Educational Pathways International has played a significant role in helping me attain the necessary grades to achieve my career aspiration of becoming a Medical Doctor. Additionally, the Educational Pathways International offers exceptional programs, such as entrepreneurship, public speaking, interview preparation among others soft skills, which equip students with skills that are vital for success in life.

I am the second of four boys in my family, and throughout my adult life, my father has been unemployed. As a result, my mother has had to take on the responsibility of caring for us, often resorting to borrowing and seeking financial assistance from other relatives to fund our education until the intervention of Educational Pathways International.
My aspiration is to become a Medical Doctor, and currently, I am pursuing a degree in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology. I opted for this programme of study because I believe it will equip me with the necessary knowledge and skills I need before I enter medical school at the postgraduate level. Furthermore, biochemical examinations are the foundation of all medication prescribed by doctors. As a future medical doctor, I am committed to making significant contributions to the development of my country, Ghana. I intend to conduct research that will help reduce and eliminate diseases that claim the lives of many citizens. This will go a long way in maintaining and restoring the health of people in my community.

I am grateful to Educational Pathways International for their generous support, which has turned my dreams into a reality. The scholarship they have provided me has significantly alleviated my financial burdens, and I cannot stress enough the profound impact it has had on my life.

As an Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship recipient, I appreciate their generosity. Educational Pathways International have lightened my financial burden which has allowed me focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning.
The scholarship has paid for all my expenses at the university allowing me to focus on my academic pursuits. EPI has helped me to be able to achieve the grades necessary to fulfil my professional ambition of becoming a Medical Doctor. The Educational Pathways International also has remarkable programmes that they take their beneficiaries through.
My dream is to become a Medical Doctor in the future. I chose this programme because it will provide me with more knowledge and skills before I enter medical school at the postgraduate level. Also, all medications prescribed by Doctors are based on biochemical examinations. My future profession as a Medical Doctor will ensure that I make important contributions to Ghana’s development. Many people die of diseases and as a Medical Doctor I will conduct research to minimize and eradicate them. This will help maintain and restore the health conditions of the citizens in Ghana.

I am Sylvester Nartey, a second year student studying Biochemistry, Cell and
Molecular Biology at the University of Ghana, Legon (Accra).
As Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship recipient, I am very grateful
for the generosity of the Organisation. EPI has alleviated my financial burden which
has allowed me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning. The
comprehensive scholarship given to me has allowed me to focus on my academic
pursuits. EPI has helped me to be able to achieve the grades necessary to fulfil my
professional ambition of becoming a Medical Doctor. EPI also has remarkable
programs that they take us through which is aimed at shaping us for our lives on
campus, academics, for our social lives and for the corporate world in the future for
successful lives.

my entire adult life. My mother has been the one who is supporting the family
through her meagre income. Despite the above financial challenges, I have
remained very focused and determined to make a difference in my family. I have
learned to make books my best companion. God being so god, I was awarded a
comprehensive scholarship by Educational Pathways International (EPI).
My dream is to become a Medical Doctor in the future. I am currently studying
Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology which will provide me with more knowledge
and skills before I enter the medical school at the postgraduate level. Also, all
medications prescribed by Doctors are based on biochemical examinations. My
future profession as a Medical Doctor will ensure that I make important contributions
to Ghana's development. Many people die of diseases and as a Medical Doctor I will
conduct research to minimize and eradicate them. This will help maintain and restore
the health conditions of the citizens of Ghana.
In a period of just few months, the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the lives of
masses of people including students. Virtual learning for students is the norm at my
school and some schools. It was initially quite difficult to adapt to an online learning
environment immediately after the traditional classroom learning. However, it was
important for me to accept the new learning environment with an open mind.
  
I am very thankful to Educational Pathways International for their support. This
scholarship has inspired me to help others and give back to the society. I cannot
emphasize the financial relief that Educational Pathways International scholarship
has given to me. I hope one day I will be able to help students achieve their goals
just as Educational Pathways International have helped me.

As the second born of four boys in my family, my father has been out of employment my entire adult life. This left me and my other siblings to be solely cared for by our mother who has had to resort soliciting financial support from other family members to be added to her meagre income to see us through our education. The beginning of the academic year was very traumatic in my home because of financial challenges. I had to manage the very little resources that was provided and risk extending the days I had to go without food.
The above challenges notwithstanding, I have remained very focused and determined to make a difference in my family. In my misery and stressful moments, I have learned to make books my best companion. An attitude that have brought me some comfort, materially and emotionally. But all these are a thing of the past due to the comprehensive scholarship that EPI has awarded me.
As an Educational Pathways International scholarship recipient, I am very grateful for the generosity of Educational Pathways International. The Educational Pathways International has taken away the financial burden of me and that of my family which has allowed me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning.
