My name is Fuseini Ahmed Wunpini, a second year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science student of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale in the Northern part of Ghana.

As a young boy growing up in a society of high illiteracy, increasing child labor and child delinquency, high mortality rates, extreme poverty, poor yields from farming, etc, it was always my dream and desire to not only provide, but also be a part of the solutions to these unfortunate circumstances in my community. This dream encouraged me to stay focused and determined despite my financial challenges.

The timely intervention of Educational Pathways International (EPI) was more than a miracle as it motivated me to achieve my set-goals after I obtained admission into the University for Development Studies to study my dream program. Before EPI, life was very difficult for me especially during my early days at the university where I faced whole new challenges in this new stage of my life. The trauma of having to afford proper accommodation, full-square meal, quality clothing, coupled with acquiring adequate learning materials, and others nearly shuttered my dreams into pieces. God being so great, He blessed my life with EPI.

Now all these challenges have become a thing of the past since I am now able to afford proper daily balanced diet, my own proper accommodation, quality clothing and proper learning materials, and my school fees fully paid.

Apart from the financial support, EPI also organizes regular seminars and trainings for its scholars where crucial topics pertaining to life in school and after-school are discussed and taught. These educative topics teach us how to cope with real life situations as students and even post-school.

EPI also keeps track of the academic performance of its members and try to provide solutions to the challenges we face academically. This has made it possible for me to achieve and maintain very high grades. This is also one of the reasons why most members of EPI usually graduate with very great and encouraging performances.
No amount of words can be used to show my level of appreciation to Educational Pathways International for the tremendous support given me to keep my hopes and dreams burning. Thank you EPI.
