I lost my Siamese Cat (Zaire) of seventeen years in October 2017. I was heartbroken as he was my child literally. We had grown together and was finally getting to the good life? So we thought? I was diagnosed with cancer and my love (Zaire) never left my side. He began to become ill and I had to make the awful decision.

My coworker could tell I was grieving and could not function without a cat to love. She convinced me to look. I did just that. Low and behold Alley Cat Rescue popped up for my jurisdiction and I knew I wanted a Black Cat. There she was (Sweet Pea) about six months old and those striking eyes. I didn't think I was ready, but something nagged me to go. Sweet Pea and I chose each other. Love at first site. LOL! Jennifer told me they were concerned about Pea because she didn't like anyone? Well.....that's also me. We adopted one another and needed each other so very much. Thank you Alley Cat Rescue for taking the time and allowing us to meet one another before we accepted one another for life. I couldn't be happier even with my cancer returning.
