DO Not Surrender your pet to this rescue. They dump their dogs in foster homes with inexperienced fosters and when they have issues the dogs are euthanized. I surrendered two dogs back in Jan to this rescue, I explained that both dogs had aggression issues, one was a 6 yr old boxer the other a 4 yr old Boston terrier. I gave Pa boxer rescue a $1500.00 donation which was to be used for these dogs to work with a trainer. Christine, the idiot in charge took the Boston to foster him, told me he was doing great and the next thing I found out was that she had euthanized him because he was aggressive, never had the dog evaluated by a trainer. They dumped the boxer with a foster who was inexperienced and had 4 other dogs in the home even though they were told he wasn’t good with other dogs. This poor girl was paying for training out of pocket,Christine denied that they had received any money for training until I provided the foster with proof and then refused to have the dog evaluated by a trainer and ordered the foster to have him euthanized a few weeks after she took him even though she offered to adopt him and I offered to take him back. Not only did they make her take him to be euthanized but they refused to have him cremated, they didn’t care that he would be thrown in a landfill. The foster took his body back to her house because she didn’t have the money to pay for cremation and another rescue stepped up and paid for his cremation. This “rescue” needs to be shut down. The people in charge do not care about the dogs that are entrusted into their care, they refuse to spend any money on these animals, they lie about their medical conditions, ages, temperament and dump the dogs with fosters who never hear from them again. I wish I had known the truth sooner.
