Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA
My academic journey has almost ended. As a final year student I would like to express my gratitude to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for a tremendous support. EPI has supported me financially and socially.
Right from my second year, EPI took hold of me when I was struggling financially. For five consecutive years, EPI paid my school fees, accommodation, books as well as stipends. The money was enough to cater for everything I needed to improve my studies. Indeed, my studies have improved over the years. My family couldn’t have paid my fees up to this level, but glory be to God I met EPI. The amount of money I receive every year from the EPI scholarship goes a long way to support my siblings in their education as well.
Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science involves taking patients sample, running tests on them and providing reliable results for the effective management of the patient. I chose to study Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science because the program is central to the diagnoses and treatment of diseases. Majority of clinical decisions are made based on Laboratory test results. I do not like to experience patients dying due to inappropriate diagnosis. To save lives, it will take thorough and adequate laboratory investigations. My goal is to have such skill at end of my academics.
It is just a few months from today and I will be graduating as a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science. After school I want to go into research academia and gain more knowledge in the field of laboratory medicine before I practice as a laboratory scientist. I intend to utilize my knowledge in the field of laboratory science to help predict, prevent and to manage the occurrence of disease conditions in my community and Ghana at large.
EPI has been the cornerstone to the attainment of my dreams. With what I have accumulated over the years during our meetings, I know this is just the beginning. I would rise and keep rising because my path has been straightened by a good Samaritan, EPI. Long live EPI to keep up with the salvation works. I am Solomon Awiagah. Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science, final year, at the University for Development Studies, Ghana.

My aspirations, ambitions and academic goals are being attained successfully right from the moment I became a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship program. University education is very expensive. Considering my poor financial background and the cost involved with my program of study, there was no hope that I could make it.
The timely intervention of EPI has brought light unto my path. Through EPI I am enjoying a comprehensive scholarship. The amount of money I receive annually had been increased significantly to adjust for rising prices of goods, accommodation and even for the recent increment of school fees by Government of Ghana.
My academics has improved very well. I do not think about how to cater for all the expenses above and so I have a peaceful mind to study. Thank you to EPI for taking care of everything I need to have a successful education.
My brother’s school fees had been paid this year from my stipends. If not for EPI he would have been at home but he is now a first year student at the Tamale Technical University, Ghana. EPI is a savior to family.
I do not only benefit financial but also socially. EPI is a family where none is left behind. We have workshops in the course of each trimester. In such meetings we are taught a lot of topics that will benefit us in our future dealings. We have an opportunity to freely express our challenges to the Program Director in Ghana to seek solutions.
I am currently reading Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science. This program is a field of science that deals with providing accurate information based on analytical tests to aid in the diagnoses of disease. I chose this program because human and animal life is very precious to me. Medical Laboratory Science forms the fundamentals of treatment. Saving life is best achieved objectively. This is done by performing tests on samples to help isolate the cause of a pathology and to monitor the course of a disease.
Right from before I applied to EPI for support I have deep intention to contribute tremendously to the development of Ghana. EPI has laid a good foundation for me to achieve such goals. I will help gifted students who may find themselves in my situation before to also rise. I will engage in research into several disease forms to help reduce the impact of mortality on Ghana’s viable Human resource.
Once again I am grateful to EPI for transforming my life within a short time I encountered the program.

The Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship program has given me the hope and assurance of achieving my dreams. I had serious financial difficulties due to my poor family background. This was a hindrance to my academic performance since my field of study is expensive. I have seen a great improvement in my academic performance after I became a beneficiary of the EPI scholarship.
Through EPI, not only had my fees been paid but also my books, stipends and my accommodation have been catered for. I am now staying on campus and this has given me the opportunity to have group studies with colleagues. Besides, I am always on time for lectures.
I express my profound gratitude to EPI. I have been greatly impacted. I did not only receive financial benefit but social and cultural benefits as well. EPI is more than just a scholarship body to me. Since I became a beneficiary, I have undergone numerous training sessions on building my potentials and how to achieve my academic and career goals.
Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science is a field of science that deals with providing accurate information based on analytical tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. I chose this field because human and animal life is very precious to me. Medical Laboratory Science forms the fundamentals of treatment. Saving life could best be done by objective means. This could be achieved by testing. Hence my choice of field.
I have great intentions of giving back to my community and the country at large. I will help gifted students who would find themselves in my situation. I will encourage young ones to work hard and also help them to unearth their potential by educating them. Being with EPI is a great opportunity for me to execute this plan.
I will like to share my experience during the closure of schools amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Lectures were organized virtually. Thanks to EPI I have a quality personal computer and a mobile phone and so I had both the examination and lectures smoothly. I had no problem with buying data bundles. Internet access was very easy for me. I still imagine how I would have participated without the necessary learning tools.
God has intervened in my life through EPI. I have transformed within a short time. I am forever grateful and I am indebted to EPI. People around me marvel at my sudden change in life. Thank you EPI.

I became a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship program last year, November, 2019. The scholarship seeks to help gifted students who are in serious financial need, of whom I am one. My name is Solomon Awiagah a second year student of University for Development Studies offering Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science.
EPI has transformed my life as quick as possible. What makes me feel more comfortable with the EPI scholarship program is the fact that not only my financial needs have been met but my social and moral life have been impacted as well. I receive every guidance and necessary advice that would help me to achieve my dream from EPI. My studies have improved greatly after I became a member of the EPI family. My school fees have been paid and also bought my books through the scholarship fund. I now have a hostel on campus and this has reduced my lateness to lectures. I used to stay about twenty kilometers off campus. This fund has helped some of my siblings in their education.
EPI has given me an enabling environment to share whatever problem I encounter. EPI is actually a family and I am very proud to be a member of this family.
The EPI family in my school meets three times in every academic year for general meeting and seminars. During these meetings a lot of things are taught and learnt. I have learnt a lot of things within this short time that I have joined this wonderful meeting. I also learnt how to associate with people of different characters.
I express my sincere gratitude to EPI for changing my life so quickly. I pray that God would restore what you spend on us in abundance.
My dream is to become a responsible adult to society upon graduation. I would contribute towards the development of my community. I would help other students who are also needy and gifted to achieve their dreams. I want to specialize as a chemical Pathologist upon graduation. I believe strongly that with EPI I would achieve all these dreams.
I thank EPI once again for transforming my life completely.
