Review for People Working Cooperatively, Inc., Cincinnati, OH, USA

PWC is a local organization dedicated to providing home maintenance, repairs and Modifications for Mobility to low income, disabled or elderly home owners ~ keeping these individuals safe and warm in their homes or providing the freedom to leave without assistance. Without PWC's services, those most in need might have to choose between making those repairs and other critical needs such as medication, food, clothing or utilities ~ or more likely, simply go without.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

For the last 2 years, I have volunteered in the Spring for Repair Affair ~ and on both occasions, I helped build a ramp for an individual to be able to leave his or her home freely. In the span of 6 hours, I helped change someone's life...allowing them to leave their home of their own will. Each time I have volunteered for this event, I have left in tears ~ and grateful for the opportunity to make an immediate impact in someone's life.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

MORE volunteers!

I made new life long and life changing friends volunteering with PWC. Oh, and I learned how to use power tools....

Role:  Volunteer & I have been on ramp building teams for the last 2 years; I've raked leaves and volunteered for the Oscar Night Gala committe and at the event itself. .
