Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am Kennedy Amankwah, a third-year student of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) in Accra, Ghana with Accounting as my major course of study.

Life after senior high school was tough even when I started the university in my first year. I must admit my single mother found it extremely difficult financing it on her own prior to joining Educational Pathways International (EPI) family.

Indeed, since I joined EPI family, there has been progressive development in aspects of my life like my academics, social, financial among others. Unlike other scholarship schemes that provides financial assistance to their beneficiaries and nothing more, EPI really goes beyond that and gives you a sense of belonging. Our country Director keeps a keen eye on our studies, give us guidance and counseling, and takes us through other training and skill to compliment the ones we receive from our lectures. These have really helped in molding my life to suit the ever-changing working force. Thanks to Educational Pathways International, I have acquired valuable skills such as how to write a good Curriculum Vitae, how to master public speaking, preparing adequately for an interview, writing a report, and a host of other skill sets.

Another aspect of help that Educational Pathways International has given me is helping me to sail through my university education with ease in terms of finances. With EPI, I only need to keep showing academic excellence and I am guaranteed to continue my studies without my mother needing to struggle. And that has actually really helped me personally to show decent academic performances over my three year stay in the university.

Growing up, I have always been fascinated about figures due to the fact that I used to help my mother in calculating her money after returning from the market from her petty trading. That is what inspired my interest in business which I did in senior high school and then decided to pursue it more in the university especially in the field of Accounting because I believe that Accounting is the language of business.
After school, I would like to pursue more into the field of Accounting and offer the professional courses related to it (ICAG, ACCA). I believe equipping myself well in this way will make me obtain a good position and also help those who will need help.
It is my aim to try in my own little way to impact and give back to my society in any way possible be it impacting knowledge, helping the underprivileged and also contributing my little quota to the national development.

Finally, I would like to express my profound gratitude to all those connected one way or the other to Educational Pathways International, from the founders, management, donors and the workers. EPI family has really impacted my life in every aspect. It is my prayer that the God Lord will continue to bless and protect everyone even as the world struggles through the current pandemic, that the God Lord will replenish all that they have invested in bringing hope to people like myself and helping us climb the academic ladder. Thank You
