Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My name is Foster Anopansuo, a first-year student offering BSc. Computer Engineering at the University of Ghana. I am a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship scheme.

I chose to offer Computer Engineering because I want to be an Engineer and be able to find and develop ways of solving problems in my community and the nation as a whole. I also want to be able to develop software and AI's to help facilitate work in the country. After school, I intend on becoming a Software Engineer and if possible, and in the long term start up an Engineering Firm in the country to help solve different kinds of problems according to the different types of engineering disciplines. In a more general view, I would like to contribute in the technological advancement of the country and motivate others into this field of science.

In the first few days in which I entered the University, learning was quite difficult for me since I lacked the funds to support my education. Then, I found Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship and applied to be on it. I was successfully awarded the scholarship. EPI provided me a comprehensive scholarship.

EPI also takes her beneficiaries through training, skills, guidance and counseling which usually are not taught in the classroom to help us academically, socially, psychologically in our monthly meetings to shape us into holistic individuals whiles in school and most importantly in the corporate world after completing school. From these meetings, I also learnt that the internship requirement in the scholarship is to enable us to obtain some work experience during long vacations and to give us some insight of how working after graduating from school will be like.

Thanks to EPI, my father also no longer worries as much as he used to as this scholarship scheme has reduced the stress he used to endure before I applied for the scholarship. Being on this scholarship scheme has also motivated me to stay much focused on my education as it holds a record of producing outstanding students per year and I also want to be one of those outstanding students after I graduate from the University of Ghana as I would not want to tarnish the reputation of the scholarship scheme.

I would also like to take this opportunity to show my utmost gratitude to the EPI team. Thank you for all what you have done for me. Although it is just my first year, I appreciate all your efforts so much.

Thank you.
