Review for Umbrella of the Capital District, Inc., Schenectady, NY, USA
Umbrella has helped me a great deal. I have arthritis and am unable to do many of the things that need to be done. Whether getting the house ready for the change of seasons, or doing odd jobs that I can't do anymore. They are just a phone call away. I have one worker whom I know and trust. He can do almost anything, so I always ask for him. Some of my friends have gone to "maintenance free" condos. I have my own "maintenance free" living, and am able to stay in my house.

Role: Client Served & I am a retired nurse/nursing instructor. I now volunteer at a nearby elementary school, where I help with reading and spelling.
