I love the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria! I feel like my life is more purposeful by volunteering at the shelter by supporting their mission on improving the lives of animals and also our community. As a volunteer, I appreciate that we receive training and support to be able to learn and participate in different activities in the shelter. I've made new friends both furry and human and am honored to be part of the AWLA Alexandria family.
