When I first began to build wheel-chair ramps for low-income Cleveland residents, I quickly realized that the need was far to great to meet with few resources. Since then I have been attempting to partner and join efforts with others in the community who are interested in addressing mobility issues.

Build more accessible housing; make pople aware of the vast need for mobility and aging-in-place resources, so people will realize that this is not "somebody else's problem.
Role: Board Member & I have built wheel-chair ramps and other accessibility features; I have changed all my home designs to accomodate universal design elements; I have advocated for disability issues and helped develop pland for a new accessible apartment building in Clevela.
