Review for Project Hawai'i, Inc., Kea'au, HI, USA
I wanted to share because this is a harder time in our lives. i know that everyone is having a hard time during this crona virus but being homeless is really hard on my children. They don't eat daily, they don't get to play with their friends at school and living in a tent is hard enough without not having anything to do all day. I was so surprized well not really, but happy that Magin and Project Hawaii showed up with a bag of hygiene, case of water, toys and food for my children to have. No one is allowed to leave their house and they came anyway. Every one is scared of getting sick, not them. They hugged us and didn't care if we were sick or not, they just wanted us to know they are always there and love us. My children were so happy to know that someone out there cares. We have been going to the places she posts that have free lunch. She is so good about keeping us updated with everything that is going on, how we can get help from everywhere and then bring us stuff.
These people are amazing and never let us down.
I have been able to participate in the baby program and summer camp with my children. my children are so happy to have all this kind of stuff to be given to them. i really don't know what we would do if they never found us in the bushes. our camp site is far away from so much and they found us anyway. so grateful for all they do for us and so many others
