I have worked with Movin' Out for many years and I can tell you that they do very important work, and do it well. Movin' Out not only helps change the lives of people with disabilities through home ownership and community presence; they change communities too. Because of Movin' Out, many, many people who are at risk of living at the margin of society are experiencing the pride of home ownership and contributing in significant ways to their communities. One of the people whom I personally know is Sue, who dreamed of someday owning her own home. Because of Movin' Out, that dream has become a reality, and her quality of life has improved dramatically.
