Review for Diveheart Foundation, Downers Grove, IL, USA
I had the privilege of working with Diveheart when they came to Key Largo this summer with 4 young men who were doing their first ocean dives with Rainbow Reef Dive Center. The staff at Diveheart and volunteers are extremely professional and dedicated, and the young men who dove with us had an amazing time. The sight of them underwater free from the confines of their mobility limitations is one I will never forget and I hope to see again and again. The beauty of the underwater world is amazing for everyone to see for the first time, but to see it when it seemed like an impossibility just months prior must have been life changing. I admire the Diveheart organization as well as everyone who works with them for their dedication to teaching people with disabilities to dive.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in showing me firsthand that people with disabilities are more than capable of enjoying scuba diving thanks to the dedicated volunteers at Diveheart.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The only change I would make to Diveheart is that I wish they had more funding so that even more people with disabilities could learn to dive.
