I first became aware of Raptor Inc. years ago when a hawk had been injured after flying into a window on my home. Raptor Inc. rescued the bird, rehabilitated it, and then released it back into the "wild" of my suburban neighborhood. All done by volunteers! Since then I have become one of those volunteers and have participated in many rescues. Returning a raptor to the wild is a unique and rewarding experience and one that would not be possible without this organization and all of the hardworking and dedicated volunteers there.
