Review for The Gow School, South Wales, NY, USA
My son is attending The Gow School for a second year. He is a Junior. His reading level went up 3 grade levels last year. His confidence is very high and he works very hard to learn as much as he can. This is a long way from where he was before Gow. Prior to Gow, he had given up at school and thought he was "dumb" because he learned differently.
He is active and confident socially and in sports and has many, many friends. Gow has been fabulous at helping to develop him into a well rounded, positive person that will make the world a better place.

I've seen my sons confidence and competence grow dramatically through the discipline, hard work and focus on helping dyslexic young men use all their skills and minimize their weakness in reading to be successful in life
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would find ways to make this school less expensive for the parents.
Review for The Gow School, South Wales, NY, USA
Our son was diagnosed with dyslexia when he was ~7 years old. After trying countless tutors and programs, we finally found out about Gow and sent him for the 2010 summer program. It was a great fit! He had a very ggod time and learned a lot of strategies that will help him for the rest of his life. He is attending Gow full time. The work is hard and he misses his friends at home, but he knows Gow will help him improve his reading abilities forever.
