My Nonprofit Reviews

I worked for the Borgen Project as a political affairs intern during this past summer. This was a unique experience for me as I had never worked for a nonprofit before, but I quickly realized the value in having nonprofits performing at this caliber. This organization gives so many talented and charismatic individuals the chance to utilize their college education to better the world. (My particular position entailed fundraising, mobilization, lobbying, research and collaboration.) Its message is simple- to downsize poverty- to assist those in need, primarily those living on less than $2 per day. This such an incredible organization that not only aims to make the world a more equitable and just place, but it also reminds individuals of the power and value of democracy.
