My Nonprofit Reviews

I did a marketing/pr internship with The Borgen Project and it was an amazing opportunity that helped me learn a lot and grow in many ways that I hadn't thought I would before. By creating my own branding campaign, mobilizing the public, reaching out to political leaders, fundraising, and other activities, I was able to not only grow my skills in marketing and working within the nonprofit industry, but I got to be a part of an organization that is really working to do good, and truly wants to enact change in our world.
Getting to work to educate others on matters like global poverty isn't what I would have expected to be doing, but The Borgen Project has helped me realize the importance of such a task and how it all affects not only the people living in these conditions, but all of us.
Everyone deserves a safe home, a good education, and access to health care. That's what they're trying to get our leaders to work on, and that's why I support them.
