Review for Pegasus Riding Academy For The Handicapped, Palm Desert, CA, USA
I started volunteering at Pegasus Riding Academy in march 2010, the staff, volunteers, clients and horses are all wonderful, I feel like i've known them all my life, it has become such a big part of my life, that sometimes i dont want to leave, my husband is now involved and he feels just as strongly as me about the wonderful work That Pegasus Riding Academy does, I know we will be here for a long time.

Helping autistic children mount a horse and walk with them for their session, I recently had the honor of side walking 2 of our riders at the Devon horse show, I was in total awe at these kids, one is non verbal but boy did she know she was showing, i was amazed and cried with joy when she was awarded her ribbon

Add a class for people who suffer depression.

It has taught me alot about myself, i have met lots of wonderful people and I intend to volunteer here indefinatley.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
Amazing, it helped me through the grief period of losing my dad to cancer 2 years ago.
