When looking for assistance for my son that has asperger's syndrome, I was turned away. I have been told by many that there is no help for children with aspergr's and most of all they didn't even know what asperger's syndrome was. How can anyone help wen they don't kow what it is. My son went on a feild trip (in 4th grade with me in attendance) to a place that has service dogs. This is where I found out that they has Autism Service Dogs. I immediately came home and started to google for Autism Service Dogs. 4 Paws was the only site that came up. Most of all they serviced children!!!! I was so elited that I filled out the form received the papers and started to inform the public about 4 paws! They treated me with the upmost respect and was thrilled that they even had a conversation with my son. They really know what they are doing! We are still waiting for my son's service dog, but ths is part because my son has an allergy to animals and it takes a special kind of dog to fully service him. I know that the service dog will allow my son to live a full and prosperious life without to many worries. Thanks 4 Paws for doing what you do!!!!!
