Review for Inheritance of Hope , Atlanta, GA, USA
The Inheritance of Hope Legacy trip to NYC meant the world to me and my family. My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer almost 4 years ago. It has been 4 years of doctors visits, treatments, surgeries, and hospital stays. With all the stress and uncertainty, my family had lost a lot of the connection we used to enjoy. Through the purposeful sessions and activities, this trip changed all that. I watched my kids reconnect with each other and our entire family would sit in our hotel room and just talk over everything. This continues even to this day.
Also, our volunteers were incredible. I didn't have to worry about any detail no matter how small. They brought us breakfast every morning, carried our stuff, wheeled my husband all over Manhattan, and made sure our kids were enjoying themselves. We are forever grateful and will always hold a special place for Inheritance of Hope in our in our hearts.
