Review for My Hero Project Inc, Laguna Beach, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The MY HERO Project has a wonderful media arts education program-- I have seen so many incredible films, art works and audio tracks on their archive. Many were submitted as part of the media arts festival--I love to watch the short films and learn about inspiring heroes and great projects around the world! When I was working at a preschool, I shared some of the films for young people with my classes and the children just loved them!

Role:  Professional with expertise in this field

Review for Missoula Urban Demonstration Project, Missoula, MT, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have attended several of MUD's workshops and found them not only informative but also exciting. Most recently I learned how to tie knots--a skill that could save my life one day, or at least keep the mattress from escaping off my car roof. Before that, I learned how to press cider, and was inspired to pick apples for the project myself. MUD is an asset to the community and I hope that they will grow into an even greater resource in the future.

MY HERO is an incredible online resource for students, teachers, activists and individuals around the world. It not only builds people's skills, but promotes cross cultural exchange and the celebration of humanity.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Viewing the growing digital media library and watching several of the films made by MY HERO participants.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Have more resources for teaching how to make films, such as a webinar.

Role:  Client Served & I searched the digital library and looked at the tools for educators.
