It was time for us to adopt another dog so we visited our local Humane Society locations and viewed the various rescue group web sites. Labrador Rescuers came to our rescue. Everyone from the Lab Rescuers volunteer who came to our home to qualify us to the family who was fostering our adoption candidate to our adoption volunteer went out of their way to help us choose a great dog and make the adoption process work.
We adopted Tiger Lily, a 1 year old female black lab mix who is a treasure. We renamed her Abby and are busy doing the training required to help her become a good doggie citizen and member of our family and I am happy to report that she is a smart, quick learner.
