We first met Katy seven years ago when our then-6-year-old daughter finally got to act on her love of horses with lessons in natural horsemanship from Katy and her assistant, a very sweet mare named Whitestar.

Katy's instruction is wonderful: patient, intuitive and geared to her student's 'place' in understanding horses and how they communicate. It has not only increased our daughter's confidence in her own horsemanship, but has also given her valuable insights on communicating with people and the traits of good leadership, whether dealing with horses or human beings.

Additionally, Katy's horse analogies for one's Christian walk are also succinct and meaningful.
