I have been active with Truro Center of the Arts for more than 30 years,
As a student I made my very first sale of artwork at the annual auction and that collector now owns many many pieces of my work.
After attending a full time arts program to attain a degree In fine arts with my thesis in sculpture and printmaking, I have returned each year as a student, a volunteer and as an associate board member.
Although I am primarily a sculptor, I have been able to take classes with interesting and accomplished artists in many other mediums at both campuses and through the annual Encaustic Conference. These opportunities have enabled me to stretch my abilities when creating in my own studio. Thanks to the founding members, the artistic director, the artist instructors and the staff for creating a wonderful space to create from its humble beginning as a summer arts facility to a year round artist residency program equal to any.
