This community of rescuers and educators are fantastic. After over fifty years of having cats I though I knew a thing or two about cats until I found Ismee who was half starved, bald, having seizures hourly and crawling with fleas and sneezing, coughing and drooling and falling down every couple of steps. She was in such back shape I was scared to touch her, but knew I couldn't leave her as she wasn't going to make it. Having domestic cats vs rescue with unknown conditions is very different and very scary with out some coaching! These gals from the CCC came in with a lot of knowledge to share and boosted my confidence that I was doing the best possible for this little gal. Here she is almost two years later a very happy senior kitty who has adjusted better than I thought possible with her challenges. Thanks to the CCC for their stellar coaching and caring thru the rescue process. Attend their classes and get educated, it's worth every minute you spend learning!
