Review for Achieve Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, CA, USA
Our 25 year old son who was raised with a love of the outdoors, has spent the last several years unable to participate in most recreational activities due to increased anxiety associated with his autism diagnosis. Fortunately we discovered Achieve Tahoe a year ago, and what a remarkable year it's been. This incredible organization has provided patient encouragement from skilled and enthusiastic instructors. It's been a year of remarkable firsts. From bravely attempting kayaking, jet skiing, and water skiing to his first time on skis, the opportunities they've provided have contributed to his growing sense of pride and the enjoyment he once found in recreation. Their kind support has given him back the confidence he once had to challenge himself to try new things.
From baby steps to giant leaps. Thank you Achieve Tahoe for all you have done and continue to do!
