Himalayan Children's Fund is a special organization in that it is small yet far reaching. I have experienced first hand the impact HCF has in Nepal, and now help coordinate social media outreach. Direct communication between school and monastery representatives in Nepal and a small hard working crew of volunteers in the United States ensures that both long term projects and emergent needs are met. HCF is able to send real time aid to help address relief efforts during emergencies like the last earthquake. Day to day needs and longer term projects are achieved through close collaboration. This organization is run on compassion and a desire to help elevate the quality of life for children in need. I'm happy to continue to support HCF as both a volunteer and a donor because I know that I am supporting an organization with integrity and vision. HCF is one of a kind.
