Review for Edu-Girls Inc, Bethesda, MD, USA
I have been involved with Edu-GIRLS for almost 3 years and as a Board member for the past 2 years. I was looking for a NGO dealing with girls education and found the holistic approach Edu-GIRLS has developed convincing and attractive. Every school is measured for performance. The organization is transparent in its approach and sharing information and I really like the approach to partner with key organizations to offer the best in digital, vocational training and mentoring along with the school curriculum. The addition of offering scholarships to students qualifying for engineering and other areas is a huge plus. Cannot think of a better way to help break the cycle of poverty educate girls and make them financially independent.
Review for Edu-Girls Inc, Bethesda, MD, USA
I have been extremely impressed by the passion and involvement of the members of this organization. They take a holistic approach to lift girls out of poverty and in some very challenging environments in India. They have developed a deep understanding of the cultural challenges these girls face and developed the curriculum to address their needs like safety, nutrition and books on a daily basis. Yet there is focus on total education from beginning till end of school and beyond and vocational training is added and even college for those who can go forward. Empowerment, financial independence is the final goal. I started as a donor but have got really involved in other areas.
