My experience with AT was as an instructors guide. My family and I had been skiing Alpine for years. We all noticed and appreciated what the organization was doing-- it blended what we all love to do ( experience skiing and boarding-outdoor activities) along with just helping folks out. What struck me as a special add on, was simply giving parents of our younger participants to have just a few hours to enjoy the mountain or just kick back. Once my kids left the house, and I had a bit of time available I started volunteering.
I was overwhelmed with the mission and selfless people at the organization. Soon thereafter I was honored to be asked to join the board and have served for the past 6 years.
I am still as amazed and enthusiastic about the mission and all the great people that volunteer and work at AT. No better organization to give time, effort and donations.
